I’m a corporate communications specialist and freelance writer and divide my time between the UK and France. I have a strong track record in content marketing, strategic communications and media relations.

I also build websites using WordPress as a content management system and web development tool.

I have worked for many years as a senior Tutor in PR and written communication skills at Press Association Training for a wide range of organisations including large multinationals, charities, government and private sector companies, large and small.

I specialise in helping companies adapt to new media environment by developing editorial skills to create content to engage with their audiences.

An extensive PR portoflio specialising in regional media relations for leading brands includes Starbucks, Costa Coffee, AXA Insurance, Sainsbury’s, Barclays and Vodafone. Extensive freelance in-house press office experience and strategic PR planning.

Previously worked as consultant and trainer for leading publishing organisations including Immediate Media, Irish Times, Times of Malta, Thomas Crosby Holdings, Daily Telegraph, Ria Novosti of Russia. Worked extensively with UK regional press on staff development, including Northcliffe, Newsquest, Archant and North Wales Media.

I’m lucky enough to have held senior positions in the regional press and worked for The Sunday Times and Independent, Reuters and Sky Sports, where I was a news editor. I then moved into PR as Communications Director for a leading bookmaker.

I like to think I have built a reputation for understanding the changing role of content for commercial organisations and have trained hundreds of delegates from all aspects of business and public life.
